I've never been anywhere cold as you

[/blockquote]Xx Rain. Something I do not enjoy. The cold droplets falling from the sky caused everything to be wet and slippery, not that any of that would matter to me. The air outside was cool, it was raining for the forth time this week. Dark gray and black clouds circled the sky like an endless black hole, not allowing a ray of sunlight to break through their barrier. It was the perfect day for me. I had the freedom to break free of the house and once again blend in with creature that were so different from my own species, but oblivious to any difference between us. I had been doing this for almost eighty years. Avoiding the occasional sunny days in the rainy town of Forks, and attending school in order to fit in on the dreary days, with a bunch of mortal immature teenagers.
Xx Rosalie sighed as she gracefully danced down the staircase. Today was another day that she would have to spend eight hours in classes full of humans who were entirely oblivious to hers and her family’s secret. To make matters worse her first morning class was shared with Alice Swan the teenage girl who was to curious about her brother Jasper. As if that wasn’t enough Jasper was also fascinated and head over heels for this human. It was too much for her to even think about. Brushing her hair over her shoulders so it would fall against her back instead of getting in her face Rose stepped off the last stair onto the wooden floor into the empty living room.
Xx The ride to school was fast, just like everywhere else in Forks the High school was just off the highway and easy to get to. Rosalie grabbed her bag, swinging it over her shoulder and slipped out of the silver Volvo that her brother Edward drove. Without glancing over her shoulder to the rest of her family she escaped the flooded parking lot of teens trying to make there way to class and walked through the side doors to the hall where her art class was. Ignoring the stares and whispers that she heard everyday Rosalie walked through the door into the bright, colorful classroom that she attended almost everyday minus the bright sunny days where her family supposable left to go camping. Rose sat down laying her drawing book and pencils out on the desk, and began to read over to assignment that was always placed in the same black on the blackboard.
Xx The late bell rang just seconds after she had walked into the classroom. She heard the door shut and heals clicking against the fake tiled floors. She glanced over to the door where an average height brunette stood with her arms crossed and a permanent frown glued on her face. Her eyebrow rose and the woman sighed and walked to the front of the classroom to inform the students that their teacher was sick and she would be the substitute for the day. Rosalie mumbled under her breath about how pitiful humans were always getting sick so easily. The woman continued by introducing herself by Miss. Jackson and writing her name on the board before sitting down at the desk and taking attendance on the computer. Figures she wouldn’t be married not with the clothes she wears. Frowning at the lack of style the woman had, Rose looked back down at her paper and began sketching the drawing that had been laid out on the desk before class started.
Xx Using the edge of the lead to shade in the basics than switching to the tip to focus on the details more, Rosalie worked on the image. She focused more on getting the shading right but paused when she heard the door open, and the squeaking of the chair Miss. Jackson was sitting in.Followed by the sound of the turning chair were her heels clicking on the floor with each step. Hello, What is your name so I can mark you present? Rose blocked out the woman’s voice and looked back down at her picture. Several of the students continued the conversations about what they had done over the weekend and who had started dating whom. Her eyes flicked back to the door when she caught the end of the conversation and the teacher returning back to the desk. She lifted her head and stared for a second before turning her attention back to the almost complete image, and wondering if she would be able to talk Bella or Esme into going shopping with her, but the outlook didn’t seem good. Esme had already gone shopping today and Bella was just a headache when it came to clothes. The only good thing about Jaspers knew interest Alice was the girl had fashion sense.
Xx The thought made her realize something. This was the class she shared with Alice, and today was just to quiet. She glanced to the desk beside her only to notice the empty seat beside Angela. She wondered where she was not that Rosalie didn’t enjoy having a day where she didn’t have to hear anything about Alice, but she wasn’t in any mood to know what Jasper would do if he found out that Alice wasn’t at school today. For all she knew though he probably knew why. Her brother had been leaving the house every night to go to the Swan residence and watch the girl sleep. What was so fascinating about watching someone sleep even if they did talk in their sleep? She rolled her eyes and looked away from the empty seat.
Xx She grumbled when the knock at the door made everyone go quiet again and turn to look at the door. What was so cool about seeing who was at the door unless it was some person dressed up in a weird costume coming to kill everyone? Not that they would have a chance to even hurt her, but it would be amusing to watch. She laughed at the thought and continued her picture with out looking up like the rest of the kids to see who was going to come into the class now.
