 WAITING FOR TONIGHT OOH,[/font] when you would be here in my arms[/center] _____________________________________ Bella smiled to herself as she drove home. She had gone shopping with Rose today, and the boys had taken Edward out to hunt. While she‘d been shopping, Rose had convinced her to buy something to impress Edward. It had been a while since they‘d had some time alone to themselves. Rose had promised Bella she would clear the house for the night so that the two could be alone. Bella smiled again and drove faster, wanting to be home before Edward. Finally she got there.
Rose had kept her promise: there weren‘t any cars in the driveway or garage. Bella pulled in and parked. Still smiling, she went into the house and up to the room she shared with Edward. She kept one particular bag in her hand, and set the others in the closet with the rest of their clothes. She would hang the new clothes up later. Right now, she had to get ready. The sun was starting to set, and she hurried into the large bathroom she also shared with Edward.
Turning the water on, she stepped into the shower. After her shower, she dried off and fixed her hair. It was left down, and it started to curl a little. That always happened when she didn‘t dry it. Then she opened the bag she‘d brought in with her. In it was a silky black nightgown. The cloth was sheer, and barely covered her. She was thankful Rose had been with her. If she hadn‘t, Bella wouldn‘t have bought it. Normally, she wore something simple, plain. She‘d always been a bit modest.
She slipped it on and turned to look at her reflection in the mirror. She thought she looked pretty. Rose sure knew how to pick things out for Bella. Bella didn‘t know much about the latest fashions or styles because she didn‘t keep up with that sort of thing. Her keen hearing caught a noise from downstairs. That person walked up and into the bedroom. Bella smiled again, knowing it was Edward. She waited until she heard him settle in, and then reached for the doorknob.
She pulled the door open slowly, and when it was opened all the way, she leaned carelessly against the doorframe. Her eyes met Edward‘s and she smiled again. “Hey,” she said.

Edward quickly bustled around getting their things into the car so they could leave. Carlisle sighed and got into the passenger seat, while Emmett and Jasper climbed into the back of his volvo. Carlisle was thinking that Edward was really eager to get home. That was true. Emmett was thinking Edward was too eager to get to Bella...and bed. He growled at that one. Jasper was trying to calm him down, but even that wasn't working on him today.
It had been four long days since he had seen Bella. He missed her so much, and he wanted to hold her in his arms. To feel her there with him. Edward sped down the highway, his car flying with him. All he could think about was getting home now. He wished he could just press a button and be home. With her.
She was his only thought in the two long hours it took to get home. This was the farthest away he had gone in the past two years. He had always hunted just near home. When he got home, he parked the car in the garage by Bella's car and got out, not bothering to wait for the rest of his family.
Edward kissed Esme's forehead, out of respect for his mother, and ran up the stairs to his room. He could hear Bella's soft breath in the bathroom, and descided to keep it cool. He would see her in less than a minute. He lay down on the bed, with a hand behind his head. the doorknob clicked, and he turned with a smile on his face.
Edward's jaw dropped when he saw bella, but he closed it as soon as he realised he looked like a fish. He cleared his throat and got up. "Hey," He said, smiling. He went over to her and kissed her soft, perfect lips. "I missed you," He murmured when he pulled away. "You look beautiful," He told her. |

WAITING FOR TONIGHT OOH, [/font] when you would be here in my arms[/center] _____________________________________ Bella could hear Edward enter the house, and she could tell he was in a hurry. The thought made her grin, and she heard him walk into their bedroom. He sat down on their bed, and when she made her big entrance, she had the satisfaction of watching his jaw drop. She made a mental note to thank Rosalie later. He was frozen for a moment, and she wondered if it was too much. Thankfully, he snapped out of it and got up. He was standing in front of her in less than a second, and he still couldn’t get there fast enough. Four days without kissing him had been absolute torture. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him against her. Before she knew it, she’d backed into the wall behind her. She kissed him for a few more seconds before she pulled away. "I missed you," he said. She smiled and kissed him again. “I missed you more,” she teased.
"You look beautiful," he added, and she traced his jaw with her fingers. “I have to disagree. No one could compare to you,” she replied, staring into his topaz eyes. She leaned in and kissed his neck. She moved her lips to his ear and smiled again. “We have a lot to catch up on,” she murmured, her voice husky. Now that he was here, Bella wondered how she’d managed to survive four days without him. She decided to forget about it. He was here now, and that was all that mattered to her at the moment. She pulled back and smiled at him before taking his hand. She pulled him over to the bed and laid back, taking him with her. She couldn’t even begin to describe how good it felt to finally have some time alone with him.
If she could, she would have spent every second of her time with Edward. They were practically inseparable, and though they sometimes annoyed the rest of their family, they loved each other very much, and nothing could come between them. Bella smiled and placed a few more kisses on his neck, breathing in his scent. He was so intoxicating, and she could barely concentrate. Still, she managed to concentrate just enough to tease Edward. She loved teasing him; it amused her.
