Are you sure you wish to bring Hell into your Kindom? It might get hot around there. The night air was always colder than any other time of the day, not that it made a difference but a little heat was always nice. Traveling in the dark was always 'safer' for Aphrodite she didn’t have to take the time to avoid sunlight or stay out of populated areas. She had last stopped in Seattle, which was not far from where the Olympic coven settled down. She never understood their desire to change their ways, to taste only the blood of animals, the thought was repulsive. Her prey consisted among humans. It settled your thirst and your much stronger than 'vegetarian vampires'. After leaving Seattle earlier her destination is in Italy. In Italy there is a city called Volterra. Aphrodite had learned a lot about the city and the vampires that live there, whom call themselves the Vultri. The Vultri is the closest thing vampires have to a Royal family, and it consists of many vampires that are gifted in different ways. Power is greatly desired among her kind and especially among herself. Her human life consisted of wealth and power and the need for that carried on into her new immortal life. Her goal was to join this group but she needed to find out how.
Her cold lips pressed against the neck of her victim. She could feel his pulse under her touch. Normally Aphrodite kill her prey fast, take them out of their misery, but this boy didn’t know how to keep his hands to himself and that resulted in consequences. Her gift allowed her to hunt quickly and easily with out frightening the human she chose to kill. She was given the gift of persuasion, you could say she 'dazzled' them. Either way you put it she still gets them to do what she desires. Pushing the limp, lifeless body aside, Aphrodite proceeded forward. She was only minutes away from the entrance into the city before she took a detour and decided to hunt outside the walls. Picking her shoes up from the true branch she slipped them back on her feet and continued. She was dressed in dark jeans that fit snuggly against her legs and black heels that slipped on behind her heal. Over her gray tank was a cotton aqua colored shirt that hugged her body and covered her neck so she was dressed appropriately for the weather. A black vest that was cut short just below her breast was over her blue top. Like always Aphrodite’s hair fell straight over her shoulders and cut neatly below her shoulder blades. Her crimson colored eyes were outlined with a black line above and below. Her long lashes were emphasized bye the mascara and light brown eye shadow. Her flawless appearance didn’t need the makeup she wore but it was just another trait she brought over from her human life.
Aphrodite sighed pulling a twig out of her hair before brushing it behind her shoulders so it could lie against her back. Stepping out of the woods she crossed through the gates into the large city. It was beautiful but the feeling of an eary darkness surrounded it; she liked it. " Damn humans" she mumbled under her breath staring at the group of drunken men he were standing by the fountain. The one holding the beer reminded her a lot of her father, which only caused her hatred to grow towards the men. She stepped forward out of the cover of darkness coming from the large building she had been leaning against. Ignoring the calls coming from the men’s direction she continued walking. " What the hell," She continued walking along the walls glancing around building only to find more humans walking the streets. Weren't they supposed to be sleeping? The sun was completely covered and a blanket of stars coated the sky. The large clock tower in the middle where the fountain was, read it was close to four in the morning and still these people walked around. Kicking a pebble so it stayed in front of her only so she could nudge it again when she stepped forward. Her gaze was fixed on the ground but the feeling that someone was closer was still in the pit of her stomach. He or she wasn’t close enough for her to hear or smell yet but she knew they were getting closer to the city walls. For once since she had arrived in Italy this person wasn’t human or it didn’t feel like it, but she wasn’t gifted with knowing things before they came. She paused looking around her and listening before kicking the rock again and continuing her walk.
Notes: Ahh very bad post, Sorry Forgive me. It's kinda short, Ill lengthen the next one, but I got to go now.

Running silently through the night, Aro watched as the large walls surrounding Volterra became easier and easier to see with each passing step. The walls seemed to stick out in the midst of the night, even if it was a dark, pitch black night. The walls seemed to stick out just a little being the deepest shade of black. This was strange, as the walls didn’t usually have that appearance. Of course, it had been an exceptionally long time since he had reentered the city in the midst of the night. Usually he tried to enter sometime during the day, and whenever that was the case he made sure nobody could see him, staying strictly in the forest. Away from the humans. Not even he would be able to ever hunt in the walls of Volterra, not that this bothered him. He had set the rule down and he would most definitely stick to it.
Stopping, Aro signaled for the rest of the guard to go on as he stared silently into the dark sky that surrounded Volterra. This was his home, his city. No vampire ever dared to hunt within it’s walls, never dared to walk through the streets while the sun was out. Though the humans had not even the slightest clue that vampires lived there, this was definitely the best place to live if one wanted to be safe. Volterra was safe from all vampire attacks, as any vampire stupid enough to actually try and hunt within it’s walls or show themselves in the sunlight was quickly and quietly destroyed by the Volturi. There was no forgiving, no listening when one begged for forgiveness. The Volturi would not stand if anything happened within the walls of Volterra. That was something that would never change in a thousand years, no matter how much somebody asked them to change it.
Taking in a deep breath, Aro noticed that there was a new scent in the air. The scent of a vampire. He wasn’t going to go all out and demand an answer from the new vampire. He would never appear harsh when greeting a new vampire. Rather he would be friendly and open. His personality was double sided to the extreme so this was no surprise. One minute he could seem outgoing, bubbly, and friendly. The next he could be harsh, demanding, and cruel. It just depended on how the other person acted, and who exactly they were. His guard he tried to be nice and decent with all the time, and this usually worked. Around his brothers, Aro was always friendly and accepting of their ideas. Around his wife, Sulpicia, Aro was caring and exceptionally gentle on occasion, though only Sulpicia would ever see this side. Yes, Aro definitely had many sides to him, and nobody would ever figure him out completely.
Walking slowly in the direction of the new vampire, Aro took note of the humans that were awake. This was rare, as they were usually asleep at this time. As far as he knew there was no special occasion, like St. Marcus Day, going on today, but perhaps there was another. Whatever the occasion was, he wasn’t going to bother the humans by asking what was going on. He simply saw no point in that. Seeing a young girl with blonde hair, Aro knew this was the vampire that had entered his city. Her scent was new and there was no doubt she was a vampire, merely from the fact that he couldn’t hear a heartbeat. “Hello,” Aro greeted in a tone that was a tad bit too friendly to be considered comforting. But that was how he was. Intimidating other vampires with his friendly greetings and what not. [/blockquote][/size]

Are you sure you wish to bring Hell into your Kindom? It might get hot around there. Humming quietly to herself which was rare since there was people around to witness her in this abnormal cheery state Aphrodite ran her finger along the stone wall, which was close to her temperature. The air outside had combined with the earlier rain and caused the wall to lower in temperature. The song was something her mother sang to her when she was a baby and even though she despised her human life and those who were involved in it, she still enjoyed listening and singing along the lullaby. She picked up singing the words where the humming of the tones faded but stopped only seconds after she began. Spinning around on her heels Aphrodite caught the unfamiliar smell. The feeling that someone was coming hadn’t been wrong. He was close enough to smell now, and she could hear his footsteps on the floor. "Hello", She heard the males’ voice before he stepped out from where he was standing. He greeting was friendly but not as welcoming as she had received several times before. He wasn’t familiar, she had met several others of her kind but he wasn’t among those. Aphrodite had also heard several stories about the Vultri which was the only reason she was she was within Voterra's walls. Although stories never provided pictures at least not the ones she had heard, so if he was a part of the royal family she would just have to find that out on her own.
Smiling she turned her body to face him leaning to her right and crossing her arms below her chest. He was older than her that was clear from first site and she knew for sure he was stronger. Appearances can tell alot about someone and that’s the first thing she Aphrodite notices." Hmm, Hello " Her voice was a normal tone loud enough for him to hear, but the group behind her wouldn’t notice they were speaking unless they turned around. Switching her stance to lean to the other side she uncrossed her arms showing some respect even though she wasn’t even sure if he deserved it yet. He was older though and lived here from what it appeared with made it possible he was aquatinted or a part of the Vultri family and if she wished to get on their good side the first step was showing the higher ranks more respect. Her tone still was not as welcoming as it could have been it was a struggle for her to show any decent side of herself especially to a stranger, she knew nothing about. So are you going to tell me who you are, or do I have to guess? " There was humor behind her words but she also meant was she was saying. Aphrodite wasn’t one to talk to strangers and it was only smart to introduce yourself quickly before she lost interest.
Twisting her foot she kicked the pebble that she had been knocking around earlier. She could hear the flutter of wings up in the trees and the wind weaving through the leaves. The heart of one of the men behind them was drumming faster like something had startled him or he was excited but she didn’t waste her time turning around to see what it was the man was getting all worked up about. Knowing humans they always freaked about the littlest things. She grumbled under her breath annoyed once again by the stupid habits of mortals. Aphrodite hated humans almost as much as she despised werewolves not that she had run across any of them, but isn’t it only normal to hate your enemy? Brushing her bangs back from her face Aphrodite looked up from the ground back at the male. His posture hadnt changed much since when he first appeared.
Notes: HA even shorter YUCK anyways, My muse will get better Promise.

Whatever the humans were doing awake at four in the morning Aro didn't know nor did he really care. It didn't matter, now did it? They were just humans going along with their daily lives, that was that. Whatever was going on today he had no part in, not that he minded. It was just easiest to ignore the humans altogether. He had to be completely focused when it came to decisions that would help them, help the Volturi. Help the vampire world. He couldn't do that if he focused on the humans as well. Besides, they didn't know they even existed. They couldn't, because if they did it would be disaster at it's maximum.
"Hmm, Hello" the girl said in return, and Aro merely nodded. "So are you going to tell me who you are, or do I have to guess?" Aro raised an eyebrow at this, surprised that the girl didn't know who he was. Most knew just who he was, along with everyone else in the coven that he helped lead. This was among the first times he was questioned just who he was, and that was a major surprise to him. Of course, he would gladly tell the young girl just who he was. After he told her, he knew she wouldn't forget. That would be a deathly mistake. Forgetting the people who ruled the vampire world. That certainly wouldn't be the brightest idea, to forget those people who ruled over you. Who made life easier in the vampire world. Or at least attempted to.
"I'm surprised you don't know who I am. Perhaps you are still a young vampire? A neworn? I am Aro of the Volturi. You are?" He offered comfort to many purposely. He wanted them to be nervous, intimidated by him. Then they would know just how powerful the Volturi were. Just how cruel they could be. They tried to be fair and what not, sure, but if the rule was broken they were merciless. The rule could not be broken. The humans could not know what they were. If they did, the answer was death for the vampire who revealed them, and perhaps even death for whoever knew. Unless they could somehow get out of it, but that was rare. Very, very rare. Only a select few had gotten away, but it wasn't really a few. It was more along the lines of one or two, and two certainly was a lot compared to what it should've been. None.
There weren't ever too many people who didn't know who the Volturi were. Usually newborns and that was completely understandable. They were new to this life and often times they were alone, with nobody to help and guide them. There were some who would stick around with a new vampire and teach them things about this new life, but it rarely involved letting them know about the Volturi. Those who were smart did tell them that the Volturi were like the royalty of the vampire world. Sure they informed them of the rule, but never really told them about the Volturi. They didn't demand that of everyone, and never would. Not my best.[/blockquote]

Are you sure you wish to bring Hell into your Kindom? It might get hot around there.
Her weight shifted straightening her posture she glanced up into the crimson eyes that matched her own. This was a plus for the stranger he wasn’t one of those who chose to live a lie of what they really were and feast on animals. Crossing her arms, Aphrodite sighed glancing up when he spoke. "I'm surprised you don't know who I am. Perhaps you are still a young vampire? A newborn? I am Aro of the Volturi. You are?" She froze for a second, his words coming as a surprise to her. Shaking her head to herself letting the thought register, Aphrodite changed her facial expression letting her lips curve up in a small smile. He was off way off she wasn’t a newborn, but he had a reason to be surprised. She figured it wasn’t common for someone to question him about whom he was, but she had heard stories and never had a face to put with those stories now she does.
"Your're wrong. Not about who you are, I'm sure you know better than I do, but I am not a newborn. "
A soft chuckle slipped through her lips. That was probably the first time he had been told that, Aro seemed intimidating and she figured he liked to show himself that was, meaning no one really wanted to speak up to him. Neither did she, if he was part of the Vultri her goal would be to stay on his good side, since she wanted to know more about them. Aphrodite wanted to join the Vultri but she figured it wasn’t the best time to bring that subject up after she had just rudely addressed him. That was just she though, she was never one to be nice to strangers, nor to the people she already knew. Aphrodite was one hundred and nine years old. You would figure someone that was that old would know the faces of the ones who were closer to royalty than anyone else, but no. She had been around others but never to the Vultri hence the reason she was unfamiliar with any of them besides their names. She brushed her bangs back against ignoring the wind that continued to blow them back into her face. She didn’t have the power to change weather so she was stuck with having to constantly brush her hair back.
"I've just simply heard stories, never had a face to put with them. It's a pleasure to meet your Aro of the Vultri."
She added the last part about the Vultri just to repeat what he had said adding some humor behind her words. The sun was gone leaving the outside weather colder than it had been earlier that day, not that it made any difference to her. Only now the humans were finally going inside to catch up on there lost hours of sleep and trying to avoid the colder weather. This was the first time she had been to Italy in both her mortal and immortal life. Her parents had never traveled when she was still 'alive', and now she had been many places but figured to avoid Italy till she felt like it was the right time to go.
"I am Aphrodite."
Her smile grew wider as she announced herself. The only good thing her parents had done was picking out her name. It humored her how wrong they had been. She was named after the goddess of love and yet her love was shared with no one. It was sort of 'ironic?' yes she figured you could use that word. Only Aphrodite wasn’t sure if he was familiar with the history behind her name, meaning he wouldn’t know why she found it amusing yet entertaining to introduce herself to others. She smirked un crossing her arms and taking a step forward than positioning herself to lean against the wall. Her plan was to carry on this conversation for a while, after all they had until sunrise.
"Are you familiar with the goddess I am named after?."
Notes: It's Complete now, sorry I took so long.
